Mey & Co is a full-service interior architecture and design firm focusing on boutique hotels, restaurants and commercial environments. From concept through construction and inspiration through furnishing, Mey & co works with clients to create unique and evocative spaces that reflect the uncommon brands we collaborate with.

We believe collaboration is paramount and every project is unique and we've found that boutique commercial work provides the collaborative culture and site specificity on which we thrive. Mey & Co takes a layered, and eclectic approach to design that weaves the needs of the client and the history, specificity, and use of the space to achieve a singular, unique, and immersive experience.

Principal

Carrie is a Principal at Mey & Co. with experience spanning both major market, large-scale projects and more neighborhood-oriented efforts. She brings a fresh approach to every opportunity that crosses her desk. Carrie holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. After returning to the New York City area, she worked for some of the leading interior-focused firms in the city, including Bonetti/Kozerski Studio and Roman and Williams Buildings & Interiors. Carrie later went on to co-found Own Entity and then Reunion Goods & Services—both collaborations with talented peers and close friends. She founded Mey & Co. in 2020, based in Portland, Maine.

Leeann Morrison

With nearly a decade of experience in the interior design industry, Leeann specializes in high-end residential and hospitality projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from High Point University and brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every phase of the design process. Her expertise includes custom furniture design, material research, and the development of comprehensive FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) packages. Leeann also plays a key role in producing detailed drawing sets and assisting in drafting throughout all stages of a project. She is passionate about crafting spaces that are both functional and uniquely reflective of each client’s vision.

Mariana Uribe

Mariana is a seasoned designer with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion from Drexel University, where she specialized in fashion design and art history. With 12 years of design experience, she has collaborated with several high-profile companies, including Latrice and Hermanos Estebecorena. Mariana’s expertise lies in sourcing and procurement for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), complemented by a strong focus on material research and vendor relations. She is skilled in managing installations and marketing initiatives, leveraging a keen eye for both aesthetics and functionality.

Jess King

Jess is an experienced architect with 10 years of experience in the industry, specializing in drawing production and project oversight. A LEED-certified Registered Architect, Jess holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas. Throughout her career, Jess has worked with prominent firms such as RTKL and Clinton and Company. In these roles, she has focused on healthcare and high-end ground-up residential projects, demonstrating a commitment to quality and innovation in design.

Eliot Bassett-Cann

Eliot is an accomplished architect with a strong foundation in both academia and practical experience. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Eliot has spent over five years working in the field, with a focus on design and drafting. Prior to this role, Eliot honed their skills at esteemed architectural firms, including Maya Lin Studio, Sheri Fabian Studio, and Aranda\Lasch. She has also served as an adjunct professor at the Michael Graves School of Architecture at Kean University.
